Architects Anne Sevestre and Herve David have built their sweet, sweet home' on a picturesque hill-top within easy reach of the French town of Tulle. The house design is based upon a sugar cube concept. The architects were not afraid of breaking down the stereotypes of typical country houses and created a window-cottage. Facade glazing met their aspirations to embody an idea of interrelation of interior and exterior space. Local problems in the field of heat supply have been solved with a central heating system, fireplaces and a floor warming system. There are only bathrooms and WCs which are isolated in the large dwelling space. Rather nominally zoned out, other rooms are open onto a wooden terrace. The cottage is complete with a living room, a dining room, a kitchen and a bedroom, a studio and utility rooms.
