Located in Kazan, The Janagi Restaurant offers Japanese cuisine. The first level of the place houses three rooms with metal plates for cooking so everyone can see. The basement accommodates a sports bar. Due to the false window and the ceiling illumination, the space doesn't feel like a cave. The bar-counter here represents an aquarium, and there is an open aquarium in the floor with a granite bridge over it. Guests of the first three rooms are supposed to relax watching the cook «performing», so the areas are designed with a soft pistachio palette, finished with wood and filled with a play of tints and textures. The sports bar palette including orange and black is meant to encourage intense energy output. Furniture is mostly custom-made. Series production pieces have been dressed especially for the project. Lanterns, dishware, baskets and tea boxes are brought from Japan.
