The interior of this apartment in Minsk has got its emotional send-off due to a photograph of its proprietress acting Carmen. Consequently, the painting on the supporting columns includes Matador whose similarity to the proprietress's husband adds an ironic touch to the interior. The walls in the living room are as well brightly painted. The other lilac-blue walls impart space to the small premises. The ceiling is the only white-coloured surface in the dwelling. Lamps act both a functional and a decorative part. Thus, lighting Matador's portraits, four wall lamps in the living room represent independent art-objects; the refined chandelier in the dining room makes up for the simplicity of the plastic dinner table and chairs. The dwelling has come out as a shining example of bitty romanticism with a good lot of irony. «Carmen-suite» that has come up offhand has been masterfully played, sounding truly dramatic.
