This mansion in Berlin suburbs is designed in classical English style. The lobby is papered with floral-pattern wallpaper. The spacious and light verandah is fitted out with startling German furniture of the 18th century. From here, staircases lead to two identical wings of the building, each belonging to a family. The interiors of these parts of the house represent a mirror reflection of each other. The first level of each wing accommodates a living room -- the rooms are adjacent and interconnected by means of a sliding door fitted in a mirror-panelled wall. Both areas are equipped with classical English upholstered furniture and a fireplace. One of the rooms is done up in saturated wine shades; the other's palette is soft green. The parquet in the house is of a warm tints. Each living room is adjacent to a kitchen and a dining room. This level also contains studies of the heads of the families. The natural wooden finish of these premises and yellow leather accessories go well with green silk curtains and textile wallpaper of the same colour. One of the studies features Otto von Bismark's leather arm-chair. The second level houses the hosts' bedrooms (each opening on a terrace) and guest rooms -- each with a separate WC.
