The basic idea of this three-story apartment in a terrace is light, transparency and color. The ground floor is divided into three areas: the entryway, the kitchen and the dining-room, and the parlor. The areas' borders are determined by square columns and ceiling segments painted in lilac, purple and claret. The floors repeat the ceiling division: in the entrance black lustreless tile is used for the flooring; in the kitchen -- the same tile with glossy surface; in the parlor the floor is of Wenge parquet. The ground floor is executed in white, grey, beige and black, which accentuate rich red of the chairs, curtains and a Rolf Benz armchair. On the first floor, where the private rooms are, new colors appear. In the bedroom, soft green dominates. The nursery is done up in warm yellow, beige and orange. The bathrooms are decorated with the use of colored glass; in the master bathroom it is rich green, while in the guest one it is red. In the basement there is a sauna and a billiard. Natural materials, functional and comfortable furniture units, together with the chosen palette and lighting, create a modern and snug interior for the family.
