Having understood tastes and requirements of the owners of the apartment, the style and rhythm of their everyday life, Alessandro set to work on the interior of this flat. The first step, traditionally, was to determine the number of rooms and their purposes. As it ends up, there is a living room united with a kitchen, a bedroom, two nurseries, a pantry and a walk-in closet. To decorate the rooms the architect applied methods of different styles, at the same time, showing preference for the classics. Rapt attention was paid to the finishing and palette. Walls in the hall, the living room and the bedroom are covered with the wood-fiber wallpapers. Beech is used for the flooring in the dwelling rooms, while in the hall and the kitchen the floors are paved with tile. The ceilings show the spacial areas: in the kitchen, the ceiling is at a lower level; there are caissons above in the living room and rectangular niches in the bedroom. The interior palette is rich, though traditional: beige-lilac and terracotta in the living room with a scarlet couch as an accent, goldish-grey in the bedroom.
