This apartment is located in a former industrial room with low ceiling. The owner wanted to get a modern comfortable space to live in. Knowing Alexander Trusov's style, he gave the architect carte blanche with his work. Technical aspect of the project was something Alexander had never experienced before. With the walls used as bearing constructions, apertures and bays were made in them to form a space. This is how all the necessary rooms were designed - among them a lounge, a dining-room, a spacious bedroom, a room for a child and a study. To continue the experiment with the walls it was decided to decorate these with panels, combining paintings, sculpture and poetry. In search of suitable ideas they turned to Boris Pasternak's lyrics. Quotations from his works emerged on the walls and suggested characters for the relief paintings: Saint Petersburg , Venice , etc. Color conception of the interior is risky and daring, as it always is in Trusov's works. As he says the colors help him light up the creation.
