This used to be a 12-room communal flat with mice and fortune-tellers. Its new owners, the designers of DOM Interior Studio, decided to make an office here. Since they spend a lot of time here the office is designed like a home, comfortable and friendly. The designers' favorite compositional methods are accents. Thus, the whole interior is the background for three accents: a picture in the columned hall, a shelve drafted by Peter Ozolinsh and designers themselves. To preserve the original look of the building, the old wooden window-frames were repaired. Almost all the materials used for decoration are improvised. Wooden elements in the kitchen were taken from the partitions. One part of the larch for the parquet was originally a scaffold used on a construction site, and the other part is original. Many interesting items of furniture were originally found in garbage containers. The designers are proud of the fact for such accessories make the interior truly unique.
