The owner wanted to have a coffee-and-orange cafe. The spirit of the southern night enfolds the visitors once they are over the doorstep. To express their view of coffee at night, Eugenia and Olga used five different colors, linen and copper. Walls are decorated with linen textiles of rich and bright colors, an unconventional and risky approach. As designers say, the question is how to attach the textiles. They managed to do it with no glue. The second decorating material is copper - it covers the bar, cloakroom and lamps. On the ground floor of the cafe there is a tiny book-store, where you can pick out a novelty and page it through over your coffee. It is worth mentioning that the cafe was planned as a museum of the Ukrainian fashion of the 1890s. In the absence of such properties photos of famous models remind us of the days long gone. Today will-be models have coffee and chat on the first floor of the cafe. In a room on the first floor latest works of Kiev fashion designers are exhibited, and you can try on and purchase any item on display to your liking.
