It is an ordinary building - you cannot pick it out of all others in Taiuan . When the family who lives in the apartment decided to restore it, the main purpose was to make it modern and cool. A slight re-arrangement and bringing in new materials such as white marble, stainless steel, and transparent glass enlarges the space. The design combines a cold technical basis with natural tunes. The project focus is the living-room, the dining-room and the kitchen. The dining-room is on the upper level and framed with a luminous pipe. The main color of the interior is white, with black and grey as accents. The staircase is lit with sensor-lights reacting to movement. Marble floor in the living-room looks effective in diffused light. An ARCO lamp seems to be the only source of focused light here.
