The apartment is located in the very heart of Moscow . The owner relied on architects to do up his "dwelling place". Simple interior layout of the flat suggested interesting ideas: vertical communications showed living areas, beams determined the shape of the ceiling. Straight lines were chosen to organize the living space. The beginning of the work was the hardest part of the project. It took a year to put the flat in order: to clean, smooth out and build up the walls. The interior consists of two major parts. The guest area includes the hall, the kitchen, the dining-room and the living-room. Bleached oak is the principle material here. The second part of the interior - the bedroom and the study - is an intimate area for the owner. It is decorated in a minimalistic style with a slight Japanese accent. The highlight of the study is a fragment of a stylized rock painting on the wall.
